value system
Two figures recently passed away; Steve Jobs and Gaddaffi.
From a Christian standpoint, I wonder how their lives were measured and accounted by God. They say one brought positive change to humanity and the other, negative.
Perhaps God would both count their lives as meaningless things not stored up in His Kingdom, if he were to view their lives in light of Christ’s sacrifice. Since His measure of righteousness is not rooted in human morality, we all fall short of His glory.
We Christians say our worth is in the Kingdom of God and that our life must reflect its value system accordingly. Unfortunately, it is difficult reconciling the value system this world has put on one’s success on earth with the eternal perspective God calls us to be equipped with.
So Jobs’ life was just as valuable as Gaddaffi’s.
